With Garena Free Fire winning the “Esport Mobile Game of the Year 2020” over the likes of PUBG-Mobile, Clash of Clans and Call Of Duty; the Streamers of the game are certainly getting the well due attention and celebrity status.
The game has been ranked 4th on YouTube’s list of the 10 most-watched video games of 2019, only behind Minecraft, Fortnite & GTA 5. Popularity of the game can be understood from the fact that, it has over 225 Million play store downloads in Just the first 9 months of 2020. In India the game boasts being the main game played by Total Gaming – India’s biggest gaming content creator on YouTube, who broke all record on the platform, gaining 13 Million subscribers in 1 Year.

FFCS 2020 Asia was broadcasted on November 29, 2020 12:30 PM IST. 12 Asian teams competed against each other for the title and a prize pool of $300,000. Teams played 6 rounds of the Battle royale game on three different maps aiming both for the placement and Kill points.

FFCS 2020 ASIA WINNERS – EXP ESPORTS (THAILAND)
EXP Esports, an e-sports team from Thailand were crowned as the champions of the FFCS 2020 Tournament held on 29 November 2020. Exp Esports best performance in the tournament came in Game no. 4, where they won the round and Final game no 6, where they secured runner-up position. But it’s their overall performance with 161 Points and 41 Kills (82 Kill points) overall which crowned the 5 member Thai team as the ultimate winner.
The team member of EXP Esports include Triplex, Caramel, Pookgod, Hoysang and the 10 Year old little wonder Poongod (Romanized Name: Eirasha Khun-in ). The winning team grabbed the $80,000 in Prize money apart from the Title win. Fellow Thai team “Kings of Gamers Club (KOG)” secured second position with 160 total points with 40 kills (80 Kill Points) and awarded $50,000.
What’s interesting to note about the final standings is that none of the regional champions made it into the Top 3 in the finale and all three teams were from the Asia Play-ins.

INDIA IN FFCS 2020 –ASIA
India’s Total Gaming Esports secured 8th position in the finale and won $14,000 prize money. But the points displayed in the live stream doesn’t make any sense. It has lot of discrepancies, apart from game 2 and game 6, every other game standings showed wrong position of Total Gaming, keeping fans confused.

The team played exceptionally well, considering India is new to e-sports gaming and almost every other team had coaches and statisticians to guide them. The team is owned by YouTuber “Total Gaming” aka Ajjubhai, who send 4 best Guild players (FOZY AJAY, GOLDEN, MAFIA BALA & VASIOCRJ) to represent his e-sports team. He couldn’t be part of the playing team as he himself is a PC player predominantly, trying to switch to the mobile version.

FFCS 2020 – AMERICAS was broadcasted on November 28, 2020, 10:30 PM (GMT +5.5). The battle between 12 teams of Brazil and Latin America to win the title and a prize money of $80,000 was watched by millions on YouTube and Booyah app.
FFCS 2020 AMERICAS WINNERS – TEAM LIQUID (BRAZIL)
“Team Liquid” from Brazil were crowned as the winner with a total of 151 points and 36 Kills. The second place holder team “Santos eSports” also secured 151 Points with 38 Kills but had to content with 2nd place as “Team Liquid” has more no. of Booyah in the tournament.
